Spotlight Partnership with Metro State University: A Celebration of Growth and Connection

Today marks the conclusion of our rewarding collaboration with Metro State University, where we proudly served as the spotlight employer for their six-week course, Reimagining Your Career: Job Search Framework and Strategies. This course was crafted to empower students with practical job search techniques, deepen their understanding of workplace culture, foster professional connections, and sharpen their interview skills. 

We’re deeply honored to have been chosen as the spotlight employer and sincerely grateful for the opportunity to contribute. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible instructor and Metro State's Career Center for their partnership, to our passionate team members who generously shared their time and insights, and to the students whose curiosity and enthusiasm made every session impactful. 

This journey has been inspiring, and we’re excited about future opportunities to champion emerging talent and help shape the next generation of professionals.

World Café Day was a dynamic experience! Students had the opportunity to rotate through themed tables and engage directly with Hennepin County professionals. Topics included the hiring process and HR, cybersecurity, corrections, health and wellness, and human services — offering a rich, hands-on glimpse into careers at Hennepin County!

The final day of the course wrapped up with mock interviews — and the students absolutely crushed it! Their preparation, confidence, and professionalism were truly inspiring.
